Role

We are looking for a Drug Delivery Systems Product Manager to be inserted in our Drug Delivery Systems Business function in our Headquarters directly reporting to the Director of the DDS Product Management Team.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for product and services planning for an assigned product portfolio within the DDS group by identifying the key benefit and value proposition, performing competitive research and positioning, leading internal and external marketing initiatives, and overseeing product life cycle management. Coordinates the execution of agreed vision and roadmap based on input from internal and external stakeholders. Meets global market needs and ensures high-quality standards for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial Strategy Management: translates the go-to-market commercial strategy into operating targets in terms of products/services, managing efficiently budget and team assigned, working alongside Sales and Business Development Team to exploit potential and emerging commercial opportunities. Manages the development of product samples and packaging for the commercial team.
  • Product Management: defines and plans the product strategy, roadmap, and product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life. Knows and understands product and market requirements and contributes to development input, working alongside the R&D team and other functions. Manages the business cases for investments for further products, portfolio extensions; develops products partnerships to capitalize opportunities and ensure portfolio growth. Manages the pricing process. Defines and plans the execution of periodical qualitative and quantitative level analysis and research studies; constantly monitoring markets share, competitive dynamics, pricing, and product portfolio trends adapting the offering to potential customer needs and acting as the recognized expert in the business on the product.
  • Product Marketing: executes product and services positioning in the market and the development of the budget, go-to-market plan, and operational product marketing activities aimed at optimizing and aligning product and marketing mix to customers’ needs to achieve expected results.


 

Requirements

  • Education: Engineering / Business degree or related fields.
  • Languages: Full professional proficiency in English, Italian is a plus.
  • Experience: 7 to 10 years in drug delivery with inhalation, particularly from a device perspective. Ideally, experience in dry-powder inhalers (unit and multi-dose) and metered-dose inhalers, preferably in a Pharma Company, a Manufacturer or a Design Consultancy.
