Our client is a multinational company leader in the distribution of products and services for retailers in Southern Europe. It has a long history of innovation, listed on the stock market and with a sound financial base.

Its mission is to facilitate the best and fastest route to market for products and services, distributing them from manufacturers to end consumer through a capillary network of points of sale.
For this company, we are looking for a SENIOR CONTROLLER for Italy Region.

Il Ruolo

Reporting to the Controlling & Reporting Manager and supported by a specialist, he/she will be responsible for the accuracy and effectiveness of company’s financial and reporting management, providing insights for strategical decisions supporting the business to achieve economic and financial objectives.
Main activities:
- To support the Controlling & Reporting Manager in all planning processes (budget and corporate plan) and all accounting operational functions;
- To manage accounting records and to prepare financial reports related to the quarterly forecasting process and monthly accounting closing according to Group guidelines;
- To coordinate and prepare internal and external (corporate and audit firms) financial statements;
- To support other departments during the financial cycles (long range plan, original budget, rolling forecast, latest estimate) in order to ensure financial preparation with focus on costs & working capital;
- To support the Controlling & Reporting Manager to examine financial flows, monitoring their consistency with corporate planning and identifies any corrective actions;
- To support the Controlling & Reporting Manager to manage special projects or dedicated financial analysis.

This position will be based in Rome office.


I Requisiti

- Master Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related fields;
- 5-10 years experience in controlling or accounting roles in a international company/consultancy company;
- Complexity management
- Previous experience in a logistics and commercial companies would be considered as plus;
- Experience working with HFM and SAP;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PPT) and knowledge of SAP and BW & BI software;
- English: fluent;
- Flexibility, executive speed, proactivity;
- Priority management, strategic vision;
- Multitasking, ability in dialogue on multiple levels.
