For this company we are currently searching for an Accounting Manager
 

Il Ruolo

Reporting directly to the CFO Italy, the Accounting Manager has different tasks and responsibilities:
  • GENERAL ACCOUNTING: Perform accounting duties such as reviewing, researching, analyzing and reconciling ledger accounts, bank accounts, setting up and maintaining expenditures and revenue working papers, spreadsheets and reconciliation to general ledger. Analyze and reconcile account balances. Prepare, review, and post journal entries. Experience with analytical accounting.
  • PAYABLE PROCESS ( service and goods) : GR/IR follow up, clearing accounts, analysis  and group reconciliations….
  • REPORTING : perform month end entries, calculate accruals, load BS and PL into Group reporting software – BOFC- and other required financial information YEAR END CLOSURE : Participate actively with the Finance Director to annual Financial Statements closure
  • Provide FP&A finance support to the accounting teams related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics in a timely manner.
  • Assist on projects and assignments related to the Finance department
  • Co-ordinate data with the internal and external Auditors
  • Provide work direction, training, advice and guidance to part time accountant
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.

Location: Verona (Hybrid working)
 

I Requisiti

Essential skills and qualifications:
 
  • Strong experience in a similar job in a subsidiary of an international group or in an important Italian company
  • SAP knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of Italian accounting principles
  • Advanced knowledge of current accounting procedures and techniques pertaining to the function
  • Ability to prepare detailed correspondence, memoranda, summaries, financial statements, and documentation requiring the interpretation and application of a wide range of administrative accounting practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff
  • Ability to perform complex detailed computation and calculations.
  • Ability to plan, organize and manage work independently with minimal supervision and co-operatively as a member of a team.
  • Ability to work under time constraints and to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work overtime as required to meet deadlines.
  • Good in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Good computer skills
  • Teamworking skills

Additional skills and qualifications that would be of advantage:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree and more than 5 years of experience in finance or accounting or a related area
  • Experience to deal with a foreign accounting Gaap ( German/IFRS..)
  • Cross-functional working ability
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
