Our client is a MULTINATIONAL ENGINEERING COMPANY operating in the Chemical Plant Engineering sector; The Company has a global and worldwide presence and is well known in the Chemical world.
In order to strengthen their technical department, we are looking for the following professional:

Project Engineer (Chemical and Process Industries)
Location: Switzerland (Basel)

Il Ruolo

He/she will be placed in the Technical Department, which is a multidisciplinary environment and with the freedom to act and make decisions.
He/she will be operating in an office with appropriate infrastructure, above-average social benefits and the exceptional opportunity to develop professionally and personally in the international environment of a technologically leading company.

He/she will have the following responsibilities:

Ensuring optimal order processing in technical, qualitative, scheduling and financial terms
Developing and contributing mechanical-technical expertise and know-how in dealing with machines and process equipment as well as their design and construction
Preparation of engineering documentation such as P&I diagrams, process equipment and machine specifications, documents for construction and piping planning, assembly and commissioning, etc.
Checking workshop designs and engineering drawings from suppliers in the field of process equipment construction concerning the compliance with norms, standards and mechanical qualification
Using existing standards and helping to create new ones for the speedy execution of customer orders.

I Requisiti

Degree in mechanical engineering coupled with experience (minimum 3 years) in the field of plant engineering and/or chemical plant construction
Experience acquired covering the role of Equipment Mechanical Engineer or Project Engineer
Knowledge of Office and CAD programs
Experience with the calculation of process equipment and piping is an advantage
A good command of written and spoken English completes the ideal profile
Willingness to travel (20%)
