For Avio we are looking for a Avionic's Product Engineer (ISA2023 04)
 

Il Ruolo

The resource will be responsabile for lead the avionics products definition and development for Space Transportation systems. Most of the activities take place during the definition phase and the development of the avionics equipment and/or subsystem

Duties will include but not limited to:
  • State-of-the art technology analysis for conducting trade-off aimed at identifying the best solution product architecture for meeting performance, cost and schedule requirements.
  • Functional and environmental analysis for identifying correct product specification. This aspect will be mainly focused on functional requirement plus mechanical, electromagnetic and natural cosmic radiation environment applicable to the product under development.
  • Supporting to commercial department for external supplier selection
  • Technical follow-on external avionic product supplier by critically reviewing design, development plan, qualification test results and assessing on final product flightworthiness
The secondary tasks include:
  • Generally supporting to department activities contributing to the elaboration and implementation of the company technology development plans
  • Evaluation of proposals in response to Request for Quotation, participation in reviews, avionics expertise in support of system studies
Generally supporting to testing department activities for test procedures, test tools definition and test results analysis

I Requisiti

  • Master or PhD or equivalent in electronics engineering.
  • From 5 to 10 years of hands-on industrial experience in the design, manufacturing, testing and performance analysis of avionics system and piece of equipment, preferably in the space domain.
  • Be able to function as part of a team
  • A proactive and flexible attitude will be required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • An ability to work independently and to establish good working relations
