Leading multinational company in the business services sector.


Reporting to the Managing Director Italy,  the figure will assures the sales strategy and tactics of the country is in place, it meets financial goals of the
company. She/he will manage the sales team (more then 10 people) and assures successful execution of country sales strategy and sales ad hoc projects as well through developing sales action plans, organising proper resources and tools for sales area, managing sales forces on daily basis and growing their efficiency, monitoring continuously market situation in terms of its impact on country revenue and sales activities, implementing improvement countermeasures if needed. 

Main Tasks: 
  • Contribute to the definition of the company's development plans;
  • Own and hit annual sales targets and accounts of the country;
  • Research new markets, monitor sales activities of competitors, provide sales forecasting, set performance goals, review sales strategy in continuous manner in order to increase the country revenue and set up operating budgets;
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, expand the customer portfolio;
  • Assign individual sales targets to sales team members taking into account their potential, capacity and development expectations;
  • Devise and implement new business initiatives and sales strategies and monitoring their effectiveness; 
  • Analyze customer needs in order to provide flexible and personalized support and define the good technical and commercial solutions commensurate with specific needs;
  • Retain existing customers;
  • Secure large accounts and negotiating contract agreements with customers;
  • Ensure effective training programs for sales force, and set their sales goals and key performance indicators;
  • Oversee the company's sales growth by evaluating sales reports;
  • Increase the efficiency of business procedures by meeting with operational and procurement departments; 
  • Meet with sales managers to assess the sales team's performance and oversee the performance management of staff members;
  • Provide adequate support to the sales force, supervising sales negotiations together with direct employees; 
  • Present monthly, quarterly and annual sales results to the board; 
  • Present the company's services at conferences and events.
  • Company revenues meet and even exceed targets; 
  • Strategic plans are in place and assure company’s growth; 
  • Sales budgets are done in accordance with country standards, in high quality and timely manner;
  • All key sales service categories are managed in the way they assure satisfactory results.


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field; 
  • 10 years of experience in the role or in Area/Accounting Management Roles;
  • Preferred background: Logistics, Energy & Utilities; Facility, Supply Chain, Telco, FMCG, or Waste Management;
  • Strong negotiation skills, Client & Target Orientation, Entrepreneurship, Problem solving;
  • Experience in change management, team building and Project Management skills;
  • Good knowledge of business intelligence solutions;
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of German and French is appreciated but not mandatory.
