Our client is Champion Europe Group, a leading company in the sportswear, footwear, and accessories sector with a developed retail organization across the EMEA region.

We have been tasked with selecting the individual to fill the role of:

Retail Merchandiser - Rif. 24/126E
Location: Carpi

 
 

The Role 

The selected profile will be responsible for developing strategies that drive growth in retail shops across Europe, working with a cross-functional team to create fast, easy, and meaningful shopping experiences for consumers.
Responsibilities encompass developing assortment and investment strategies, analyzing sales data to generate business and product recaps, identifying business opportunities, influencing cross-functional teams, providing in-store visual guidance, and monitoring the market.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that stores maintain optimal stock, positioning products appropriately to maximize sales and profitability;
  • Ensure stores are equipped with all necessary supplies to effectively support the sales process;
  • Provide the retail sales team with relevant reports to understand their sales performance and drive sales targets;
  • Implement effective stock management systems to maintain stock integrity;
  • Development of pricing and promotional strategies. Collaborates with the Retail team to develop retail pricing and promotional strategies;
  • Coordinate relationships to logistic department, ensure visibility and tracking of all incoming and outgoing shipments of designated retail product orders/deliveries;
  • Utilize company tools to transfer products between stores or markets based on stock trends and store demands;
  • Collaborate with Visual Merchandising teams to ensure consistent product displays in shop windows and within stores.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of previous experience in merchandising and retail, preferably in the apparel sector;
  • Ability to lead, motivate, train, and develop a team through active management of expertise;
  • Willingness to adapt, take on new challenges, and driven for continual improvement;
  • Understanding and embodiment of brand attributes;
  • The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, self-confident, and motivated individual, with autonomy and leadership skills that make them a source of inspiration for others;
  • Excellent written and spoken English, knowledge of the French language is considered a plus;
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
