Il Ruolo

The Chief Financial Officer position, reporting to the Group CFO based in Italy and to the Local CEO of the Brazilian Company, is accountable for the financial operations of the company, including the development of metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team and strategic recommendations to the members of the executive management team.
The CFO manages the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting as well as Board Meetings and advertises on long-term business and financial planning.

Main responsibilities:
  • Oversee the issuance of financial information (manage the Finance team)
  • Ensure that all financial information is reported in the Group reporting tool for consolidation purposes
  • Report financial results to the CEO, the Group CFO and the Board of Directors
  • Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
  • Manage the forecasting processes: budget, strategic plan
  • Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
  • Perform Ad-Hoc analysis and simulations to support business decisions
  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
  • Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
  • Review of existing procedures and implementation of missing procedures.
  • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Manage all the AFC team
  • Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of statutory auditors and government agencies
  • Report risk issues to all the Management
  • Maintain relations with external auditors, analyses their findings and recommendation. Propose corrective actions as appropriate
  • Manage ad-hoc projects such as implementation or update/upgrade of ERP
  • Support the growth of the business by ensuring that tools are up to date and by anticipating the change in business => implement enhancements of the applications
  • Ensure business continuity: to preserve critical business application in the case of a disaster/technical failure

I Requisiti

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 10 years of working experience in large corporation
  • Highly motivated to work in a challenging environment, you will be part of an entrepreneurial project where involvement and commitment are key to your success
  • Experience in partnering with an Executive Management Team
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decision based on accurate and timely analyses
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of integrity and dependability with strong sense of urgency and results orientated
  • Speaking English is a must have (Italian in additional – not mandatory)
