For the plant of Aprilia, Human Value, is looking for a Tax & Compliance Specialist
(Maternity leave – temporary contract of 14/16 months)
 

The Role

The Tax & Compliance Specialist will collaborate with the Finance Director to ensure that the Italian Softgel facility complies with Catalent Pharma Solutions financial policies and procedures, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), Italian accounting principles, SOX and L.231.

In particular:
  • prepares the year-end financial statements for statutory purposes. Organizes Board of Directors and Shareholder Meetings (annual and quarterly) and keeps the meetings’ books;
  • liaises with the External Auditors and with the Statutory Audit Committee;
  • prepares and reviews local tax filings (VAT, Corporate Tax, Income Tax, etc.) together with the external consultants and Finance Director;
  • prepares monthly tax-related journal entries and account reconciliations;
  • prepares the quarterly tax provision forecast and other ad-hoc documentation as requested by Corporate; 
  • prepares and reviews the annual Transfer Pricing Documentation together with the external consultants and Finance Director;
  • maintains accurate SOX and L231 documentation and controls as required. 

Requirements

  • Degree in Economics;
  • 3-4 years of overall experience, partly in auditing and partly in financial services;
  • Knowledge of Italian and international accounting principles, statutory statement and ideally Compliance (SOX, L231) and basic knowledge of Taxes;
  • Very good knowledge of English;
  • Experience and ability to partner with different external and internal stakeholders, building engagement and strong relationships;
  • Flexibility, proactivity and team building skills.
