The Strategic Buyer will be responsible for the following activities:
  • Conduct independent analyses and monitor global procurement markets to anticipate risks and opportunities.
  • Manage international procurement activities for both ongoing and new projects, optimizing procurement processes and resource efficiency.
  • Identify, assess, and develop suppliers, supporting qualification processes and fostering strong partnerships to ensure supply chain continuity and reliability.
  • Negotiate pricing and drive cost reduction strategies, including "make or buy" evaluations with a focus on vertical integration and maximizing company value.
  • Draft and negotiate purchasing contracts (including framework agreements), safeguarding company interests and mitigating risks.
  • Support supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and expected performance. This role focuses on monitoring field performance rather than conducting quality audits.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and teamwork skills, with a results-oriented and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities, coupled with proactive, innovative, and process-optimization skills.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 25% of the time), including short trips to sites to support local projects and supplier management.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) for negotiations and communication with international suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to proactively manage supplier relationships while maintaining service quality.
  • Travel accounts for 25% of working time, with trips primarily in Europe (3–4 days per month).
