Global HR Business Partner – Operations - HV26494

Online from
9/4/2026

Location
03 - Italia/Piemonte/Torino

Job location: Turin, Italy - Group HQ

Our client is the HQ of a global contract manufacturer.
We are looking for a Global HR Business Partner – Operations to support the evolution and optimization of the global Operations organization, integration and transformation, within a newly formed international group, private-equity backed.
The role combines global organizational strategy, workforce optimization and HR analytics, with hands-on support also to the Italian branch. It is an ideal opportunity for an HR professional who understands manufacturing environments and can translate business strategy into effective organizational and people solutions.

Key responsibilities

~80% – Global Operations Business Partnering, Scaling an Efficient Organization
  • Partner with Operations and Sr Management on the optimization and integration of the global Operations organization, structure, and footprint (including over a dozen manufacturing plants worldwide, and global functional departments such as Supply Chain, Quality, etc.)
  • Analyze workforce structures, resource requirements and personnel costs across plants and geographies.
  • Design and maintain organizational blueprints for plants and operations, ensuring the right structures, roles and capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve organizational efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness.
  • Support business cases and organizational change for insourcing/outsourcing, footprint changes, capacity expansion, restructuring and operational transformations.
  • Develop benchmarks, KPIs and workforce analytics to support fact-based organizational decisions. Working closely with Finance and Controlling.
  • Partner with local HR teams to ensure consistent implementation of global organization and workforce initiatives.
~20% – Italy HQ HR
  • Support Italian Sr. management and the Italy HR Manager on industrial relations and selected high-impact activities (eg. Organizational and management performance improvement plans, organizational redesign opportunities), working closely with local HR and external advisors where required.
  • Support mid- to senior-level management recruitment at Group management level, across Functions, from profile definition through selection and onboarding.
  • Contribute to broader HR projects and initiatives at Group level.

Ideal profile

  • 5–10 years of HR experience in manufacturing, industrial or multinational environments — ideally within process industries (pharma, food, chemicals) — with a strong understanding of manufacturing organizations, labor costs and operational workforce dynamics.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, business cases, organizational data and cost analysis; experience with industrial relations.
  • Fluent English; international experience highly desirable.
  • Pragmatic, collaborative and comfortable in an international, evolving, uncertain environment — typical of a PE-backed portfolio company in a transformation phase.
  • Business-oriented and analytical, with strong numerical and problem-solving skills; equally effective in strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
  • Credible with senior leaders across both Operations and HR, able to influence decisions without direct authority.
  • Able to constructively challenge existing organizational models and operate effectively when data is incomplete and decisions must be made quickly.

Key success measure: helping the business build a more effective, scalable and cost-efficient global Operations organization, while providing high-quality HR support to the Italian headquarters.
