The role
Sales Area Manager
Location: north of Italy
The candidate is required to supervise the application of sales strategies and methods, with the aim of promoting new products, service offers and implement all necessary actions to achieve sales goals. Reporting to Commercial Director, the Sales Area Manager will be accountant for the business results of his/her respective area and will play a pivotal and crucial role between dealers and market company.
Sales Area Manager will be responsible for:
- Analyze sales potential and customer/dealers needs
- Perform monthly/weekly market analysis in the respective areas related to market potential, demand and offer of vehicles, customer segmentation and their respective needs
- Regularly visit dealers location face to face and salesforce
- Act as business partner in supporting dealer owners for investments, sales campaign, marketing actions, promotions, events etc.
- Ensure that sales process, salesforce and territory management is efficient and correctly implemented, assessing the results and the competences of salesmen
- Monitor customer satisfaction, in order to maintain a strong relationship with them, building loyalty
- Propose proactively changes or possible developments in his/her area
- Support dealers in the yearly Business Plan preparation and implementation, to reach the targets in terms of Volumes, Prices, Margins and products mix
- Actively operates in the implementation of new actions or projects necessary to reach company’s KPIs
Requirements
- University Degree
- At least 3 years of experience as a Salesman, Key Account Management or similar role, with a strong preference for profiles with experience in dealers management
- Trade negotiation techniques
- Knowledge of sales financing methods
- Financial and accounting knowledge
- Excellent computer literacy with capability in Outlook, MS Office
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work under strict deadlines
- Ability to build and maintain the relation with key clients
- Ability to handle multiple client accounts
- Strong negotiation and persuasive skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in Italian and English
